Strategy + Persistence = Results
Often when people fail, they quickly assume they have the wrong strategy.
They’ll (hopefully) review their approach with the hope they fix it and continue on to success.
One thing I’ve noticed with many business owners – is that they’re fast to blame the strategy.
“Facebook Ads don’t work”
“SEO is a load of BS”
“My content marketing isn’t doing much for me”
The strategy is only part of getting the result.
Often the problem is in the EXECUTION of that strategy.
Just like I could give you the winning lotto numbers, but unless you go buy that lotto ticket – you ain’t winning anything.
If you’re struggling to get an outcome from a strategy right now..
And you’re confident the strategy is the right one to use..
Ask yourself these questions:
1. Have I honestly given this a red hot crack?
2. Have I been fully committed to making this work?
3. Have I been patient while I learn this?
4. Do I have experience executing on this technique? (if not then go easy on yourself)
5. How long have I tried to make this work?
Most success you’ll ever have with your marketing campaigns will be from ONGOING, APPLIED PRESSURE.
You keep chipping away.
Over and over again.
Until it works.
..and you don’t stop until it does.
Next time you’re stuck on a campaign, ask yourself if this is a strategy problem or a persistence problem?
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”
– Calvin Coolidge, 30th US President
