How to adjust your website to get more enquiries
We all know your website is important to your digital strategy.
In a previous video I said it was the centre of your world online.
If it’s so important, how can you make sure you set it up right?
The good news is – you can make adjustments to your site to get more enquiries per 100 visitors.
The ever better news is – in most case, it’s far easier and cheaper to double your website conversion rate than double your website traffic.
So what elements increase the conversion rate of your site?
Here’s two adjustments you can make:
1. Clear contact details visible up top – This is ridiculously basic, but if you want more email or phone enquiries.. make it easy for me to reach out. Why make people work for it?
2. Put email sign-up forms throughout the website – “The more nets, the more fish”. Easy for your web developer to set up. Also check out SumoMe.com, it’s a free plugin you can add to your site which helps with lead generation.
Plus a bonus one:
3. Add social proof to your website – Trust is a huge barrier to someone enquiring. Proactively address that you are trustworthy on your site. I’ve written a list of 12 specific things you can do on my blog a few months back:

There’s many more techniques to boost conversions, but this is a good starting point.
